Along with providing services for adoption programs in the United States, China, Ukraine, Peru, Uganda, Costa Rica, Bulgaria, Hungary, Pakistan, and Haiti, Lifeline is also available to assist you with home study services if you have already applied to another agency. Lifeline offers the following social services on a contractual basis:
Home Study: $1,750
Home Study update for USCIS: $500
Post-adoption Services: $250/visit
Some countries require that post-adoption reports be submitted for an extended length of time, many times until the child’s 18th birthday. In many cases, the home study agency will be asked to take responsibility for ensuring that the family complies with these post-adoption requirements. Because of this, families will be required to pay up-front for all post-adoption services before the home study can be forwarded to the appropriate entities to ensure the family’s compliance, as well as a $500 deposit which will be refunded at the completion of the last post-adoption visit. Failure to complete the post-adoption reports as scheduled will result in forfeiture of the pre-payment and deposit.
Please contact our office at (205) 967-0811, or email us at lifeline@lifelineadoption.org, if you are an Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, or Washington State resident and are in need of home study services.
